Try electrolysis best and cheapest way to remove rust that I have ever tried. All you need is a battery charger, plastic tank, water, and some washing soda. Look it up on Utube lots of info on how to go about it.

My friend tried it David, but it seemed like a lot of work to me, plus the caustic soda and I think hydrogen as a by-product, introduced safety risks.

Molasses works for me, so I will stick to it,
