Yes ........that copper bar is made in order not to leave spots marks on the out side , it's also used on some doors skins .

If you have a Old Tip you can pass on that you have been shown or seen somewhere.
So l will kick it off with a observation I saw on a car many years ago .
l was restoring a mk1 1960 Mini and noticed it had no spot welding marks around the window frame on the outside but had them inside the car ... how weird...... Well a few years l saw a video on Utube on a Old Dutch factory making the CKD Morris Minor.
here are the Pics.... it looks like a Copper shaped bar?.
And it works a treat.... up the power a bit and very little marking.👍
