ID:	3236 Well...The Henry J is coming back today so what better time to get this cab back from the Kristen @ Specialty Stripping in NH.

Looks like it's going to get busy in this little shop. Good thing the kid I hired to help out isn't coming around. 🤣

Thank goodness these guys happen to be patient and it's not their first rodeo. Luckily I only have to get this one metal worked and into epoxy. Guess it's more workin' less postin'.🤣

ID:	3241 Quick sticking of the roof shows I kind of have my work cut out for me. Luckily it doesn't have to be perfect.

ID:	3247 spent the early part of the day with Ospho cleaning the metal and getting the last of the rust out of the pits.
Then spent a few hrs on the roof. I got about 1/3 of the roof done in about 3 hrs. Might be able to get away with just high build but I think a coat of spray poly might be needed.

ID:	3303 mostly there. Still a few spots at the back. All told probably around 15 hrs in the roof. I have to weld the corners where lead was applied from the factory and do a few other minor repairs but I should have the roof and cowl in prime Wednesday (tomorrow I work out of the shop).

Finished the roof and cowl panel
            Welded and leaded the seam
(Little low in a couple spots).
Tomorrow lead the other side and prime the roof cowl inside and out on Sunday.

Most of the day was spent on the Henry.

Looks a little better in the pics than in real life but customer wasn't looking for perfection. Totaled up the time and the roof and cowl from start to prime was about 20 hrs.

                  Thanks for the support.

Sure looks great, Jay. All I can think is how much abuse is often inflicted upon the roof of an old pickup. Nice to see it being resurrected.

Not much today. Spent most of the day (8hrs) on boat seats.

My helper came in today for a few hrs.

Excuse the firewall. We mig-ed one side but that's it. Just sanding and getting ready for paint.
