I cannot believe you bought this up again!!!, Neil is doing okay .
I believe in common sense and the laws of physics.

You can’t create a 99% perfect panel with manky old tape that when you pull it off ….changes its shape ( you cannot argue this even if it’s slight) …... Maybe 70% accurate….. only good for surface area….

Okay for hobbyist with lots of time on their hands , Or a instructor trying to waste time to earn money….. Think about it.

using profile gauges 99 percent accurate..,,.,,,

But if you did it in our garage you would end the same way our Neil , (who took a whole week to made a solid metal hammerform for a panel you could make in a day)…...Redundant.

20 years ago when I was in the modern game l used to use a bit of 2” masking tape just to find the holes on tailgate etc… because it was quick….NOT used to make a Panel!!!!.
I would pull off the tape and stick it on my side of my toolbox…….
but the panel only had a slight crown.!!!!!!!
and I didn’t sit there for a whole morning covering the whole thing in Sellotape……

    I would’ve been sacked.

if you want to go to Wray,s Class And waste your hard Earnt money putting tape on a panel you are a Fool.

Ha ha! You have misunderstood me Sir!

No FSP's in the movie just a paper pattern.🙂

      Apologies for my satirical headline,

      Cheers Charlie

I clicked on it, even though I try to avoid all the proshaper stuff like the plague, because I hoped you were joking, Charlie. It was good to see you weren't serious about the fsp stuff.

Nice car. Lots of work. Lots of billable hours. Cubic money will fix anything....
